Probably a question for Neil but I can't get on to the Forum tonight from my Mac. Sad

Currently on Moira's laptop. Anyone any ideas? The error message is that the address cannot be found. This happens on both Firefox and Safari search engines. But I can get on to .org and the F Register.

Cheers

I've just tried my mobile and even that is logging on ok, with the exception that it screws the display up but that's normal!

Dave, you've been using your Mac quite happily before haven't you?

Dave, have you run any updates recently, OS X or internet plug-ins? Are you running Leopard (OS X 10.5) or Tiger (OS X 10.4)?

Can you take a screen shot in Grab of your nework prefs and I'll see if I can spot something odd.

Forum Access from a Mac Empty Re: Forum Access from a Mac

Post  Rich 20/9/2008, 8:14 pm

It's coming up as quick as it ever has for me. Nothing has changed except for the widgets on the left which have been there for a while now. At the moment we seem to have a 'no-go' with a mac and 'slow-go' with a PC, so not really much to go on.

Has anyone else had any problems?

Dave is all fixed now!!! I'm sat in front of his MAC right now! Seems a problem with the Tiscali DNS servers, so I have switched him to use some others and all ok.
