Luke has failed MOT
I took Kathryn's car for an MOT today and it has failed..... Needs new wheel bearings, also track rod and suspension ball joints. It failed on a brake imbalance, which I have known about for ages, and even have spare callipers for sorting, but just don't seem to have got round to it in the last 9 months! Anyway, garage is doing it for me, so hopefully kathryn will be back on the road in the next day.

To Mac's Garage in Witney. Most the guys that work there used to work at Kernahans when it was the MG Rover main dealer.
Yeah I knew it would probably fail! But I just haven't had time to sort it so arranged for it to be MOT'd and serviced by them, and then get them to fix the things for me! Will cost kathryn a bit, but at least the car get's sorted and back on the road sooner for her.

Re: Luke has failed MOT
Ok, Kathryn's bank balance is now over £700 lighter, but Luke is running sweet. Had to have a new headlight as well, and a few other bits. Had a full service as well.
Still got a couple of things for me to do at some point... New bushes, new off side rear track rod and it needs a waxoyling as the corrosion on the front sub frame/lower arms is starting to take hold, new bracket for the oil filler, and the hose for the air intake has come off (but not a prob as going to remove it all anyway for her to have a K&N i've got for her).
She doesn't like having spent the money, but admits that it drives like a completely different car now and is loving it!
