Just drove the TF...
... the first time in a month or two, and found it a bit scarey. Its noisy (Ok that's my fault with the exhaust), un-comforatable and jumps all over the place on any of the bumps (Probably to do with my low profile 17 inch wheels - as everything else is sorted)
I have been driving the ZS for 3 months or so now, and that is sooo much nicer to drive, feels smooth and very fast, in fact with the lightened flywheel I am now struggling to get the power down in second gear, in first there's no hope , in the wet third can give up quite easily as well
I think the TF, with the roof up is quite disappointing to be honest (I still prefer the F's over the TFs), with the roof down though it transforms it, strange !! I think I'll put it away now for the winter, and bring it out again when the sun shines.

Re: Just drove the TF...
I know what you mean, my F with the roof up is no where near as pleasant a place to be as my daily driver.....but once the lid is down everything just feels smoother and more connected - I have no idea why.
Got to be worth keeping it on the road over winter, there's some glorious crisp sunny mornings in November, and the heaters top notch

I find a similar thing and don't like driving the F with the roof up. Don't forget FRL, another reason to keep the car on the road over winter.

must just be us then ... love the f's any which way ... but there again our daily driver is an hyundai i20 tdi
Re: Just drove the TF...
BAS soft top liner improves the hood up experience somehow......... certainly feels cosier, appears quieter and enhances ICE output. Not a cheap addition, tho I'm sure an able DIY'r could easily reproduce something similar at a fraction of the cost.

Mine is my only car so come rain or shine im in my F,have to say its not great in cold wet weather, having real problems demisting on drivers side doesn't seem to clear at all but heh they are designed to be a summer car and as soon as the top comes down on a sunny day never fails to put a smile on my face
