N295 FDH is here!

Well got the car today, its a little better condition than I thought.

It will need a new bonnet, new wing, and maybe the NS wing as well. The rest of the car is pretty straight. (I probably could leave all of those panels, but I'm a perfectionist) It will need a good mop and polish, and the rear spoiler re-painted as the lacquer has come away. That said, for the money, there is not another turbo in this good a condition. Electrically everything works, apart from aircon, guess it needs a re-gas, ps does turbo's come with a toad alarm as standard??

Some extra bonus items, uprated induction and all new piping, although the filter needs oiling, dump valve, thankfully a quiet one. Strut brace, powerflow, full exhaust with decat. And sports suspension (not sure what make yet), but lowered by about 30-40mm. The car sounds absolutely amazing, better than my KV6 ZS!!

The alloys are non standard and are basically shot, so I may get them re-furbed or just get some good condition straights for it.

Brakes are crap, and look standard, I will replace them but it reminded me of my old F, which also failed to stop Smile

So, will give it a good polish and then get some pictures up. The guy that picked it up has a RS turbo fiesta, and he was quite impressed with it as well, which is a good sign.

I have room for another, which would make 5, but as it stands with 4, one in the garage, although when all works are done, two cars can fit in there, the rest on the drive, its a right pain when I want to get the TF out, have to move three cars around Smile

Fab looking coupe nice colour and top spec too, I've always had a soft spot for the coupes and the rover turbos (620 and the coupe) if I had the space and cash there'd be one of those on my drive. Hope you have fun with it.
