Nice thought - but it's full of Trigger and his accessories. As he's not a real horse - he doesn't have to be unloaded between gigs!!
I spose I could drive up, take the old bonnet off and put the new one on!! Are they easy to fit?

Could you drive up without a bonnet? If not arrange for a courrier (sp) service to pick it up!

Sounds highly illegal to me - I've just emailed the seller to ask if there's anywhere up there i could dispose of my old one if I were to drive up and fit the new one. He does say in the ad that he's breaking his - so fingers crossed!

Spose I've still got my comedy wheel arches, and pebbledashed paintwork to add my own unique touch to an otherwise unremarkable car!!

Re: Ali, charcoal bonnet on ebay
Ok - being serious now!! I fully intend to win this auction - BUT -How easy is it to fit a bonnet. If I'm going to drive up to Cheshire to get it, I'm going to be mightily hacked off if I can't do the job!!!

Re: Ali, charcoal bonnet on ebay
You could always strap it to the soft top upside down... It's been done before! Then bring it back to where you can get a hand with fittling it. Not really difficult but better with two pairs of hands to get it to line up correctly.

Nice find, hope you manage to sort it. Don't worry about the rest of the car, it'll all come together over time.

Fingers crossed even more-now that i have realised that one of my friends, who goes to stay with his girlfriend in Manchester at the weekends, will be able to pick it up for me!!
I have been very silly - I poked at the annoying bubbly bit on one wheel arch that i have been trying to ignore for some time - and I now have no annoying bubbly bit!! I have a big hole!! Got back from Doncaster an hour ago and was planning to have a lazy afternoon - not spend it playing with filler!! BUGGER!!
