Re: Repairable or not!!
Paul, sorry to hear about your chicken incident, really bad luck. Hope that Chips Away get you sorted. Be intersting to get a report back on them. Perhaps you could ask him if he is interested in coming along to MGFest as a trader, to work on peoples cars. If he sounds interested then send over his contact details and I'll chat to him.
Dave, nice one with the use of the GB sticker!
Rich, love the sticker design! Paul, shall I get one made up for you as a big vinyl to go on your bonnet???

yh will let you know how it goes tomorrow morning and willl definaitly speak to him about that, after all they are all self employed so he could be up for it that weekend if he's going to make some money!!
Although the sticker sounds good not sure the bonnet is the right place for it!!!

Member testimonials... Good job. Did you ask him if he would be interested in attending MGFest? And would he offer any special deals to SmS members? He could be escalated to an 'SmS Recommended Supplier' if he did!PaulMGTF160 wrote:Right well the guy cme and fixed it yesterday!! Awesome Job can't praise him enough!!!

Re: Repairable or not!!
The Chips Away guy near to us has recently taken out a half page ad in our local freebie rag. And what car does he feature in the main photo? A solar red ZR!

Re: Repairable or not!!
Stew spent hours on my car - I felt guilty because I couldn't really do anything to help him...apart from offering drinks every now and then, however, I did remove both of our bumpers, get the lights sprayed up, and then I fitted them And not forgetting draining his battery too. lol
I've got a few more plans for the f, but at the moment I am a but dubious whether or not I like it or not. I dunno why, I just have a few reservations about it.

Re: Repairable or not!!
Max, the bring out of drinks is one of the most important jobs! I enjoyed doing it, so don't worry about how long it took. I'm looking forward to really seeing it in it's glory when I have re done the painting.M77XNE wrote:Stew spent hours on my car - I felt guilty because I couldn't really do anything to help him...apart from offering drinks every now and then, however, I did remove both of our bumpers, get the lights sprayed up, and then I fitted them
