MG reveals the Zero concept car
Designed by the MG Global Design team based in Birmingham and led by British MG Design Director Anthony (Tony) Williams-Kenny, the MG Zero. Check out the messaging system on the hatch... I'm sure I could think of a few things to display on that!

Not a bad looking car....the 'spec' looks quite good too, I think the future bodes well

Re: MG reveals the Zero concept car
Still not truly an MG in the heritage sense... More of a Citroen or 25th Century Corsa!
But good for the Longbridge guys, although it's only only a concept at the moment. It's looking like they will only get the MG6. After a chat with Roger Parker at the 'Pride of Longbridge Rally' it seems that all the hype in Auto Express about the TF replacement is just that... Hype! Several designs are on paper and even drawn up in CAD but nothing has been built yet. Apparently several designs have been binned already!
At least the Chinese recognise the British are the best designers though so they are keeping one section of the factory busy

The interior is cool , but externally it looks like the MG Jimmy Hill to me

Re: MG reveals the Zero concept car
It looks like a cross between a Seat and a Vauxhall However, that is the way of the modern car and as I have said before, if they put an MG badge on a shopping trolley I'd buy one!
We have to remember the MG heritage - souped up Morris saloons = carried on by the Triple Ms and Zeds so lets not be too critical: of this or the MG6 the way we all were originally when the Ms came out. If it has superior bhp and handling like the M turbos and the three Zs and therefore has the MG spirit why should we be over critical?
Those that are fans of the car rather than the MG badge will criticise no doubt but I as an MG enthusiast will keep an open mind and applaud the attempt to put new MGs on the road, especially if they are designed and assembled at Longbridge.
Cheers
