It's just taken me two and a half hours to get home - from Oxford to Burnham!

Virtually no traffic, no reason apart form my own brainless blondishness!

A4074 - Was so busy thinking about how well the car was running, and what a nice 'f' road it was, and how lucky I am - that I completely missed the turn off for Henley, and didn't notice til I got to Reading!

Reading to Henley - managed quite satisfactorily

Henley - drove round it twice - missed my turning the first time, then changed my mind and decided to go home through Maidenhead.

Missed the Maidenhead turn off (too busy thinking about how fast the car was, and enjoying winding up an mx5 driver)

Decided that the M4 would be fine - and knowing full well I live 5 minutes off junction 7 - I went straight past it! came off at J6 instead and hit every red light on the A4.

I think I'm in the right flat - all the furniture looks familiar - but I wouldn't like to put money on it!

Ally the 4074 is a great road and missed turning myself on there so your excused..... Actually sounds like you enjoyed the drive home.... not sure you'll be doing that everyday though, could get expensive on petrol!!

last time i used SatNav - I was driving a left hand drive car through central london - my gps phone told me to go left - and the cars Satnav told me to go left!! I prefer to rely on the magic roads principle!
