Le Mans

I am off to Le Mans next month for the 24hr race, with a group friends who are all petrol heads - we just missed out on borrowing a 28ft winnebego, and so have to slum it in tents. but as hes a pub landlord, we will be taking a full size beer tent, barrels, pumps, coolers, fridges the works!

He goes every year and has friends who work for pro-drive aston martin, so a pit walk should be on the cards!

I am increadibly excited. like a kid waiting for christmas!

anyone else making the trip?

I went to the Le Mans couple of years aho, really good day out!

how much will it cost?

we are going for 5 good days out! travel on the wednesday return on the sunday, camping and circuit tickets were about £120, then its chipping in for ferry and diesel, food and beer - but as hes a publican, its all at cash and carry / supplier prices!

a barrel of carling and a barrel of guiness should see us right (the guiness so we dont have to take any actual food!)

he also has a full DJ / Kareoke set up that he is considering!

i am soooooo excited.

so does anyone want me to promote SMS/Z register/etc etc?
any one got any flags, banners, t shirts, stickers?

could be a good way to round up some new members?
