Found out yesterday that someone has commited identity theft on my accounts and stolen ££££'s !!!!

(No i hadn't done my Xmas shopping)

With every bill still to pay as well & no gifts is going to be a lean Xmas in the household this year.

Also, car failed its MOT

-emissions (either cat or lambda sensor apparently)
-handbrake failure

So i think i may have to take the car off the road for a few months, until i can afford to replace the parts and get an MOT, or until the money is replaced.

Mortgage and bill paying have to come first!

sorry to hear this mate, it's a right pain in the butt when this sort of thing happens. If you have a capital one card then their team will help you sort out all of your accounts (with them or not) That's why I have one (I dont spend on it though).

I've been in your shoes re: the identity theft thing. The worst thing I found is that no one gets caught. The bank gives you your money back and they don't pursue it any more

I paid for someone's Saab to be serviced in Essex.

Unfortunatley i don't even have a tenner!! Been completely cleaned out (9k) over drafts too : ( and im working new years day!!

........just back from court, where i witnessed the sentence, got his just deserts. Money credited back to my accounts So now, i can get the Captain re-mot'ed, and continue house hunting.
