600 Mile and oil really Black!!! Empty 600 Mile and oil really Black!!!

Changed the oil in the dark this week as the guy who fixed car used 5w40 which was making my engine sound really noisey when cold! So now put in some Mobil Super S. Its amazing the difference some better oil makes!

However what i was surprised at was how black the old oil was when it came out it has only done 600 mile since it was put in!

At least i have used it to flush the engine out!

oil that black after 600 miles!? Either you have a dirty engine or that claimed oil change hasent found the oil drainer and is still the old oil in your car. we flush truck engines through and after 600 miles it would still be clean.

it was definaly new oil that was in as the sump was removed to replace the oil lader rail!

Anyway new oil stayed clean now so putting it donw to te engine needed flushing after HGF

Surely the guys who fixed the HGF should have flushed it? Suspect
