Re: MG ZS 180 - Da!sh!
Very nice. Looks like you got a good one. Well done!
So it's the one from Pistonheads... Spotted the Halfrauds V6 badges! Time to get out there with the hairdryer! Some nice chequered flag logos would be the perfect replacements on the side to compliment the back one... and a nice Southmids Sportsters sticker!

Well done James - a proper ZS too
Look's like it was registered directly from Longbridge with 'BX' plates?

Re: MG ZS 180 - Da!sh!
yeh i was thinking of the stickers, can you please remove them v6 barges for me tho they look well out of place, i was thinking of maby placeing the mark 2 "180" badge beneth the indicators.
It dose have a couple of things that need doing, the of side front wheel arch backing has come loose and needs bolting back up, the wheel is catching the inner side of it, easy repair got a squeek on the off side rear at low speeds and a squeek with in the dash somewhere and the alloys need a refurb, apart from that it pulls like a train, i see why you like them so much Matto, i was shocked of the accelaration when i first went out in it. and not only that its pritty good on fuel to, iv done 100 miles today and its hardly used any im supprised if you drive it normaly it gives out quite a good MPG!

Honestly, it's so easy! Just point a hairdryer at them (but not for too long or the paint will fall off) and they'll just peel away. Just don't use a sharp knife to level them. If they really need a little assistance from behind, put some masking tape round them and use a Tesco Clubcard!Da!sh! wrote:yeh i was thinking of the stickers, can you please remove them v6 barges for me tho they look well out of place, i was thinking of maby placeing the mark 2 "180" badge beneth the indicators.
The MkII 180 badges are a great idea. I'm sure there must be some around somewhere. Whatever you do, don't buy the single halfrauds numbers. You'll upset the 'purists' on the forum!!!!

You can start with these for the sides, either just back from the back doors, just above window level, or above the indicators.
And a nice new avatar!

Just as long as they don't strike half way through the job, or worse still your car gets lost in the post!

It's a performance car and gets driven mostly at night on A/B/country roads...what do you expect?

Have you tried changing out of third gear?
I get 28mpg from the Quad Cam 2.5 litre V6 ZTT and as someone once gave me the complement of "being quick" when challenged to a duel, I think that is good mpg
Seriously, have you checked to see if it is over fuelling? It is a lot lighter than the ZTT.

Re: MG ZS 180 - Da!sh!
I used to average 29-30mpg from the old ZS, easy to drop it to mid 20's though. Getting just under 28mpg from the ZT. Thats mostly on B roads with some A road and dual carraigeway.
