Ok so who broke the forum???

Seems like main body of replies to threads isnt showing for posts made since yesterday!!

Our forum hosts had a major problem lastnight. It seems they are busy trying to restore everything. I'm sure Rich will get onto them shortly if it doesn't all come back.

Indeed it appears we suffered at the hands of our forum hosts. I couldn't even get on this morning before work, so was hopeful when I saw new posts... But it looks like there may be permanent damage. I've just been reading on the forum hosts' own forum and it appears that all posts on all of their forums made after Sunday morning have been lost permanently. Many have also lost their structure so we should at least be grateful ours appears to be intact. They are still working on the problems so we'll have to see. I would advise however that we prepare for having to restore our own posts... if you can remember what you wrote!

Apologies to all... but out of my control I'm afraid!

I changed my Avatar yesterday evening and that's still intact... And my post count hasn't been effected either.

I'm currently sitting watching the support forum run by the hosts. This problem has got worse today, with people trying to fix their own forums and trying to edit the ones that have disappeared.

You're ok posting here on this thread or on new threads, but can I ask everyone not to re-post anything from yesterday on any existing threads until we have a green light from the hosts? Hopefully, it won't be for long.

It appears that we're actually one of the luckier forums. Some have lost ALL posts and some have even lost their graphics including the top banner and even their colour theme! If nothing improves, we may have to move to a different forum. I'm going to chat to Stewart as soon as I can to see what our options are.

Thanks for sticking with it on this one guys. Noboby keeps the Southmids Sportsters down!

No you can't blame me It was obviously a simmering problem that my sensitive iMac picked up and stopped me from being able to post before it all happened!
