Cheers Nick..... Is that a good price then?!?
What other parts did you mention were needed apart from the 3 switches?
Did you also say they had a tf to rob bits from in the scrappy in Daventry?
I saw the same exhaust as yours on ebay last night for £40, but havent got access to ebay at work to post the link!
I've put in a bid for a T bar with speakers!!! currently sitting at £10.50........ ebay rocks!!!

Re: Max or Seb console conversion?
Yup I spotted that exhaust as well!
The price isnt bad on that heater front, it's more the fact that they dont come up that often. The scrappy in Daventry is called intapart, it's a bit pricey but they do have a few TFs in there (not much in the blue TF spark as I've nicked everything off that one ) Otherwise I know Stewart has a local scrappy with a few Fs TFs in Oxfordshire, always worth asking him.
The extra bits you'd for the console swap are the consolse surround (around £40 eBAY), heater knobs (£20 eBAY) gear surround gaitor (£15 eBAY) and a mk2 front and rear fog light switches (Around £6 each from x-part)

Nick this sounds good......I hate not having ebay at work!!! I will have to check it out when i get home tonight!
One more question.....The clips surrounding the centre console, do you just pull them out or is there a special technique? I was experimenting last night but felt if as if it was going to break?

Re: Max or Seb console conversion?
Ok I have just had another result...... I took a trip over to Interpart in Daventry (based on Nicks recomendation) to see if they had a Mk 2 centre console and they did! Although it is black I am still really pleased as have decided to keep the balck interior!
After putting on a high visibility vest and being armed with nothing but a philips screwdriver, I managed to haggle the price down to 50 quid ...... That's not a good result I can hear everyone saying...... However this also included the Gear Gater, Heater Control Panel Mechanism, Clock and Oil temp Gauge, Hazerd Switch, Window switches and both Front and rear fog light switches! oh and the cheeky black screw caps that cover the screws just underneath the wing mirror handle!
I even had to pretrend to support Man U as the boss was a Man U supporter and called me a cheeky when I heard the score and laughed! oh well!
On a more serious note has anyone got any tips on how to fit this as taking it out of a salvage MG wasn't easy?? Nick you seem like an expert in this area, any tips?

That is a great result. New centre console surrounds alone go for between £125 and £175 drom the MGF Centre! Although I have previously fitted a different interior I have never removed the bits you are talking about. However, use of the "search" function on this site http://www.mgf-tf-central.co.uk/ might throw up some tips. From the links on there, those taking you to Deiter's, Rob Bell's and Scarlet Fever's sites should really give you all you need.
Cheers
