Gosh, your car is lucky! My housemate's motor obsession means that our garage is full of an MGBGT and a Royal Enfield motorbike!
If you're in the Summertown area, feel free to drop round - I'll make you a cup of tea!

Yes well the previous owned kept it garaged for 4 years and only did 8k mile in it so i try to treat it the same, well i have done 7k in 8 months but at least its garaged i managed to keep to that... thats quite a collectin in the garage too the, you know they would be more than welcome too on here.....
Well i'll keep my eyes peeled for your car if i'm coming through summertown then, i'll look at for the car being cleaned or the one creating the most glare!!

Re: Welcome Saffie
Tonight is also set for a very tricky operation. The rubber seal around the top of the windscreen comes loose whenever I hit 70mph.
Richard, at Wantage, recommended EvoStick. I just hope I don't have a clumsy moment and end up with unremovable glue all over my pride and joy!

Re: Welcome Saffie
Could certainly have a little run this evening if you fancy it. Need to go to the rose revived to check out what time they open. I'd be up for meeting somewhere like Seacourt P&R and then going for a nice scenic drive over to the rose revived for a beer? I could meet at about 18:30 if anyone up for it... If you come, make sure you have 5p for the toll bridge!

Go on kids, you go and play, and have a great time! Don't be too late... You've got work in the morning!

Re: Welcome Saffie
Just got back. Was good to meet you tonight Saffie. We ended up with 3 Fs (Shaggy, Henry and Luke) and 1 TF tonight. Took a nice route over the toll bridge and on the back roads to the Rose Revived and then sat by the river having a few drinks.
Saffie has a fabulous looking car, and with LOADS more of the carbon effect interior kit. I'm trying to work on a deal to swap it for bits so I can add it to shaggy!

Re: Welcome Saffie
Hey Guys!
I had a really great evening. Learned lots, and it's nice to have Henry admired! I have a tendency to witter on when I'm nervous, so I apologise
Run out there was fun - I *just* about managed to keep up. Even if I got lost, I could still have heard Stew's car
Much less nervous now - really looking forwards to the 10th.

Aww, nice to know other people think Henry's nice too.
As for the carbon fibre, as soon as I get the wood veneer stuff I want, you're welcome to it!

Re: Welcome Saffie
Nice one Saffie. Don't try to peel it off, I'll just swap it all out for a new plain set of vents/console/door cards etc. and then you can apply the new veneer straight onto new stuff.
