Re: A piccy of the B
Any details? Mileage? MoT & Tax? Price? I can ask about for you. Would be nice to see it go to an enthusiast...

I will get a full write up about it over the weekend. I think dad is looking for about £4000. (Oh, and 6 months tax & MOT )

Oooh, nice.... If I didn't have to hold back the pennies cos of shaggy's problems then I'd def be interested! Don't suppose he'd take installments???

I dunno Stewart, he might!
It's been re shelled and had loads of things done to it. I remember when I was a little girl we had to go to Wales to pic it up. It had been to an MG specialist down there who did all the engine and shell.
Both myself and dad want it to go to someone within the 'MG community' as it would be a real shame to see it go.

As a member of the MGB Register Committee of the MGCC can I suggest that he advertises it in the classifieds of the MGB Register? Just go the MGCC website and there is a link there to the MGB Register and then to classifieds.
I have a sinking feeling that the days of £4K for a 31year old MGB are long gone. If he can't sell it for his asking price then eBay would be the best bet, with a reserve, or I'll give him £2K cash when he is fed up trying to sell it. No joking. I was watching them on eBay and they are not reaching reserve or selling for under £2K
What a shame he is moving it on it is an absolute beauty and MGBs are my first love. I ran a pale yellow R reg for 3 years before my first F and they are an absolute joy. Please bring it to the meet.
All the best
Dave.
