Our newly adopted charity
After a couple of disappointing relationships with a couple of charities previously, we decided that before any decisions were made for who we would like to support we would research carefully a worthy cause and one where our members and guests could clearly see and appreciate where their kind donations were being used.
And we have found one...
This charity provides lifelong support for our Forces and their families, and have been supporting the British military family since 1885. This commitment provides practical, emotional and financial support to anyone who is serving or has ever served and their families. Whenever they're needed, they do whatever they can to help.
When we attend events with the club stand, we will be taking various items along for you to buy. We will also have collection tins for disposing of all that loose change that we know you don't really want in your pockets. We will also be proudly displaying the SSAFA logo alongside our own.
We have set up a JustGiving page so you can make donations directly from this forum. Just click on the logo in the left column at any time. You can also donate through the charity's Website (click on the large logo above to find out much more) and you can visit the charity Facebook page by clicking the logo below.
