Ok so my car insurance is due in 30 days so thought i'd have a lok around for some quotes and i can't believe how diverse my quotes are they range from 400 to 1430

Now come on what is going on there, what do i get for 1430 that i dont get for 400 seems a bit excessive to me...

So who are you all with?

I was with MoreThan, but the indian call centres really annoyed me, as when I started adding mods they just didn't understand a word I said! The worst was trying to explain the private plate, and they kept thinking it was a different car and couldn't understand that it was just a change of number plate. They really annoyed me, but were cheap. Anyway, so I changed to Steve Marsh at A-Plan, but at renewal, the price went up and then when i said about my plans for the car this year, the impact was going to be huge and make it a fortune, so I tried Peter Best (the MGCC insurers) and they have done me a blinding deal that is way less than A-Plan and does not get affected hugely by the planned mods for this year. I went back to Steve Marsh and he admitted he would not be able to even come close to it, so that's it, I'm with Peter Best now. You have to be an MGCC member to be with them.

Oh, that's strange you haven't had anything yet. If you needed membership for insurance, then won't be a prob, as they accept you having the 'intention' to take out membership!

Send me a pm with your address and I'll speak with Richard Jones and get it sorted.

Insurance is a good point actually, mine is due on the 27th, been quoted £478 with A-Plan, inc mods. Stew, coz my dad is an MGCC member could I see if I can get cheaper insurance too coz I am at the same household?

Shocked You're not a member in your own right? That's it... Stew will card you now!!!! Laughing

My 'F is insured with Peter Best as he was much cheaper than A-Plan. Mind you, it's on limited mileage (5K a year). There was no additional charge for the mods either. He does a discount for MGCC members too!
