Kimbolton Country Fayre - Sunday 14th July 2013

After last year's unfortunate cancellation due to adverse weather and a waterlogged event field, this favourite of the SmS calendar is back again this year. As usual we will have a large display area and we'll be joined by the UK Homes 4 Heroes stand too.

The Fayre is a charity event organised by volunteers from The Rotary Club of Kimbolton Castle and The Sporting Bears Motor Club. It is held in the beautiful grounds of Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire, the home of Kimbolton School (PE28 0EA).

The 2013 Fayre already has a fantastic line up of Showring Events, provisionally with "Flyin' Ryan's" motor cycle stunt team, The Sealed Knot, Pace Setters dog disply team and the usual Tea Tent, Real Ale Bar, a Swing Band and Dancers, Stalls, around 800 Classic Cars, Dream Rides and many more attractions and activities for the whole family.

I have applied for tickets already, which will be handed out before the event. You still have to pay to get in but the ticket ensures your space on the stand. If you're interested, please add your name on this thread.

We've got a pretty good site reserved for us with plenty of space, so we should be able to have a decent display. We'll also be collecting for the charity, so if anyone wold like to assist that would be great.

Steve has just brought to my attention that I haven't put any convoy details up yet...  

As last time, we'll be meeting at The Priory in Wellingborough, just of the big roundabout on the A45 (NN8 2LF), for a 9.30am departure so please be there before then. I will hand out the tickets for each car there. Don't forget that they are for discounted entry and NOT for free entry. However, the organisers have been known to forget to come and collect the money!
