Pub run to The Globe - 11th March 2012

Further to in depth discussions and a poll (!) the decision has now been made to have our pub run to The Globe, Linslade (LU7 2TA) on Sunday 11th March. This is a favourite haunt of the club although we haven't managed to get down there since this time last year!

The Northampton convoy will meet up at the Toby Carvery, East Hunsbury (NN4 0TG) for departure at 11.00am (anyone not there by this time will have to hot foot it down the A508 and A5 to find us).

The pub opens at 12noon but we'll no doubt have our traditional car park gathering prior to entering the doors for refreshments and grub, so it's not a problem if we're early.

Seeing you have mentioned it...

Eleven pounds for Sunday roast is about tops. One beer a glass of wine and two roasts were £30.80 Quite a bit but it would not stop us going there again some time. About the best pub setting in England for my money and as you say Tony, that is what you pay for I guess. Not a complaint here though, just an observation...
