Laptop - Pink
Can anyone tell me if these laptops are any good?
I know they are pink - I think they are funky, however Dell do a really nice black one with cherry blossom on it which I do prefer.

Yep, agree with Paul.
Although, you could always buy a laptop for it's spec rather that it's colour!!!
You can get skins to put on any laptop, a bit like this one... http://www.backslaps.co.uk/unitrader/shop/product/Laptop-Skin-Polka-Dots-White-on-Pink-/411

Re: Laptop - Pink
I can't believe that anyone would consider buying a laptop from Woolworths! That would be like buying a car from a garden centre... Customer support? Well the sheep and the dog say it all...
NHS use all Dell and although I've had loadsa trouble with the older (18months plus) kit with problems like motherboard meltdowns, cooling fan bearings ceasing, power supplies dying, etc., the new stuff is far better, especially when that crappy Vista is wiped off which speeds up performance no end!
Rich.

Re: Laptop - Pink
I just thought that a laptop was a laptop really, if it came from Wollies or not.
What would you recommend then Rich - please bear mind that I put ALL of my photos on my laptop (I have thousands, oh yeah, how can I do a back-up of all of them?)

Re: Laptop - Pink
I've had a 300Gb USB drive for about 2 years now, and I've just picked one up for work... a 500Gb seagate one for 70 quid. Good old Maplins! Might upgrade mine to a mobile media version so I can play live video, mp3s, etc. without having to turn on the PC...PaulMGTF160 wrote:i always find an external hard drive is a great idea for backing up data!!
