Sticky Season Empty Sticky Season

So, I got home from Kimbolton yesterday and tried to close the windows. Pasenger side went up no problem but the drivers side refused to emerge from the door.

It did not even feel like it was trying to lift - would move a couple of mm up then stick and no sound from the motor, then it would go down the same couple of mm.

So off with the door card and tried to give it a helping hand as I operated the switch - still exactly the same. So, loosen all the adjuster nuts, window went straight up. Re-set all the adjusters and still going up and down fine - although now of course I will be paranoid about actually using it!

The only good news is I seem to have done abetter job of setting up the window this time.

Having had the sticky brake on the ZS and now the sticking window on the TF, I began to wonder what next, as these things are supposed to come in threes. Then I remembered last week the hood was sticking at the 80% closed point. Fortunately a good spray of silicon lube got that working nice and smoothly again.

Hopefully that is the end of my sticky season!

Great day yesterday, with a good turn out.
