Rob and Lyn douglas are well known both in NZ and UK MG circles and visit NZ every year. They own an MG TC and in 2008 drove it fom Alaska to the bottom of South America.

Now in company with another TC they are on their way from UK to Beijing China through
Russia, Mongolia, and so on.

The blog they are writing is up to date and one can follow their travels. Their freinds TC, brought over from NZ broke down in UK pretty much straight away and needed a new block etc. Then one of them broke their arm and that was before the trip began!
Makes very interesting reading if you have the time..............
