Ben's MGF...

For those of you on the FRL who met my best mate Ben , it appears my evil plan has worked as today he bought an excellent V reg Mk2 VVC in Knightfire with cream and red leather interior.
Should pick it up mid week, and I'm sure he'll be an out of area honorary memner as he's up for coming out on a few of our runs.

Looks like telling him that he'd get an unbiased opinion on whether to get an MGF from us and that all MX drivers are liars and 'bat for the other side' worked out.
He actually said that meeting everyone on the FRL and seeing the camiradierie and friendliness clinched the decision so well done everyone.

Just two points... All members are honoured. Its just the the supporters who are privileged! And the colour is Nightfire, unless he has added armour attached to the car!

So any possibility of him bringing it to The Globe at the end of the month? Would be good to get some pics there and of course have a closer look anyway. Interested in seeing the bespoke interior.

No Pics yet, but he picked it up today and all is well....sort of...the windscreen wiper popped off the ball joint at '70 mph' on the motorway....well he said he wanted a car to play with and do some mechanics on, welcome to MGing

Well reporting in from the Western front at last. Yes i'm hopeless and forgot to sort this sooner but i've been hard at work since my F adventure began. In the last 6 weeks it has gone from this

And on the way had me do the mike satur wiper kit and fit Nicks old K&N induction kit & rezpack so i had fan speeds 1 + 2!

Nice photo Ben. I have to say your car really is looking smart. I just hope i can get mine to look as good when i finally get it.
As an aside, thanks for part 1 of couriering my hood from Tewkesbury. Nick's mum did part 2 today and Nick dropped it over earlier. Looks good so just need to swap screens.
