Aaargh forgot it's parents evening for the kids I'm booked in at 6:30 and 6:55 so I wouldnt get to Overstone till 8:15, I'll still give it a try though, will update later

That's fine Nick. As I'm always reminding everyone, the official start time for the evening meetings is 8pm anyway. It's really just folk who are eating who get there earlier. So you and 'Lola' (see the 'beast' thread ) can take a leisurely meander over when you like. We'll still be there. Might have some good news for you too!

Tried to fit the ZR springs today only to find the shocks are too long so I need to obtain some ZR shocks too.

Not sure who is coming to the July meet but we need to discuss a couple of upcoming events and who is available for the club stand or duties. The next proper even we are officially attending is Kimbolton, but that will just need a little help putting up and taking down the stand. Then it's MGFifteen and as you're all aware we are running the east run into it. I'll need a couple of volunteers for that. After that is Brit-Cars which is in quite a big way our own annual event as joint organisers and we all need to be pushing that now so perhaps we can discuss how we can get others involved in that too. Lastly, we'll see if we can squeeze a regional run to somewhere in August. I can't remember where we're supposed to be but I think it's Bucks, so get your thinking caps on for that.

Is there anyone not coming to this meet who wants to assist with any of the above, so I can put names down?

I know it's thrown people with it being so early in the month but that's because the first Thursday was literally the 1st of the month... so tonight is the third Thursday and so it's meeting night...

I'll be bringing the Kimbolton tickets for those who are going on Sunday. If you're not coming tonight, I'll have them with me at the start of the convoy. You'll need them to get your discounted entry. Details of the convoy have been added this morning...

Hallo good people............sorry, will miss this one. As you may know it is the to be the last Mechelen (Kempenrit) Belgium meeting. There are thirty seven F's going from UK. We will be making our way there on Thursday via Norfolk lines ferry from Dover to Dunkirk.

This will be the five year anniversary of the F reg staying at hotel Ve. Next year the Belgium club are organising the EEOY (European Event Of The Year) so they are going to be very busy with that meeting. Included will be a circuit or two of the Oh so famous Spa-Francorchamps Grand Prix circuit with its fantastic history going back to Nuvolari etc days.

Also in Kempenrit again this year is the largest free European music festival. Three sound stages with one right outside the hotel. We are not planning on getting a whole lot of shut eye.!

Sounds like you'll be enjoying yourself Dave. I'm sure you'll have some tales to tell us at the next SmS meet. Seems ages since you've been to any of the UK meets with us... The next two weekends are our busiest yet I think!
