Go Waterless
Recommended by Dave Walker and superbly demonstrated on Kate's Rover, this product is truly amazing! You can wash you car with no water, even if it's covered in road grime, water smears or bird poo (!). Once it's buffed up, it looks like it's been polished.
Here's the really good news though... When I placed the order, I asked them if they were prepared to offer a discount to our members and they agreed! All you need to do when you order online is enter CLUB into the promotion code box and a 10% discount is immediately applied.
On their website are testamonials and reviews from magazines such as Classic & Sportscar if you need any further convincing. Click here to visit. It's the perfect product for last minute preparation at events and can even be used in direct sunlight.

Of course we have. They wouldn't be recommended otherwise... The clue was in the first post!!!!
Excellent stuff. Unbelievable. I'll give you a demo if I remember to bring it on Sunday! Mind you, Dave Walker usually has his in the boot...

Me too - my boot is crammed full of cleaning and fixing stuff! It is usually very clean - but I have horses, so have to negotiate a dusty track twice a day - hence the current desert combat camouflage!

Re: Go Waterless
Well that's the amazing thing. Once you've done the car completely, for the next few times you can just wipe the dirt off. A small bottle will do the car about 8 times and you only need to use it once every month or two. Haven't done mine for ages as it tends to show all the stonechips and other imperfections that a light layer of daily grime hides!!!!

Re: Go Waterless
so that means i'd have to clean the car less often.... hmmmm but when would i get time to myself them.... cleaning my car gets me out of the house i'll have to think of other things to do to the car..... could be going over to the darkside......

Re: Go Waterless
Yes mate the darkside is the way to go, though not many easy mods to a 160 performance wise as it's sorted. You can get to do all the nice bits that mean you dont get covered in grime

Re: Go Waterless
A nice exhaust wouldn't hurt though and there are so many cosmetic options out there too. Start with a decent boot spoiler. Even with the extra lip on the TF, a spoiler improves the overall shape IMO. And there are stickers 'n' chrome bits... the list is endless!
And (just to keep it on topic....!) there would be more bits to polish!!!!
Rich.

Re: Go Waterless
well your right that would mean more to polish...
not keen on stickers and chrome bits but the exhaust and a seat leon cupra front splitter would be nice...
As for power well it does me just nicely right now but who knows what the future holds...
keeping on topic - the future may see me buying that cleaning stuff

Re: Go Waterless
Maybe we could have a "off topic" button next to "quote" that automatically moves responses to banter - for when conversations start to get interesting - but in the wrong place!

Re: Go Waterless
No such button available I'm afraid as I didn't write the forum software, but I have the power to shift things. Would be much easier if everyone just hopped over to Banter anyway... Don't mind a link appearing here to it... Just thinking that it's getting a bit confusing for newbies to the forum to find stuff staying 'on subject'...

Shouldn't that be 'not staying on subject'??
A good point well made though - and I shall be on best forum behaviour from now on!!
