No jets
Went to wash the windscren and noticed that the nozzles dont seem to have any oomph! when squirting the water out!!!
Normally wouldn't worry too much, but is getting colder now, and the roads are filled with crap of some sort or another, grit, mud etc.........
last thing i want is to be following a queue of traffic, have the windscreen covered ad travelling probably at speed with no way to clear it..........
ideas?
Motor(s), resevoir ????

Re: No jets
I'd take the bottle out and give it a good swill out, then disconnect the washers and check flow through the pipes, reconnect the washers and it should be better.
If that doesnt improve it then replace the washers with citoen / peugeot 106 washer jets (about £7.00) like I have, that seems to have improved the spread and height. If that doesnt work then I guess its a new pump.

Re: No jets
I don't think its the actual jets, as i replacd them with some chome & red LED ones, water still comes out, but it looks like there is no pressure to it

I had Citroen ones - but I changed them back as I got fed up with the impromtu showers when I had the roof down - no matter how much I fiddled trying to adjust them!!

Re: No jets
What is it with you guys, always willing to put down the original kit? My jets work absolutely perfectly. They blocked once and all it needed was a pin shoved in each jet and wiggled a bit to get them working perfectly again. It just takes a little time to get them set up and they are perfect. As Ally says, the peugeot/citroen ones can easily get you wet as they are not so 'fine-tune' able... Now all you need is heated pipework!Dark Knight wrote:There generally just crap! Of course, there may be the odd person within our jolly group that may need 'other' jets with little glowing lights in...
