Has anyone fitted the new Toyo Proxes R888 and can tell me what they are like in the wet??

a picture of them is on ebay here.

They look slippy to me!! Shocked

Hmmm. Probably not too good in the wet, but in the dry I bet they grip like the car is on rails. Just have be careful of leaves on the line!

It also appears that the MGF/TF nation's favourite, the Toyo Proxes T1-R, are actually cheaper...

Slippery the better if you ask me! ....but probably best to stck to the T1-R's

there about 30.00 a piece on ebay! Very Happy

The R888s are a track day tyre. In the dry you'll go like a Scalextric car. In the wet you'll be dead.
If I were you, I'd pay the extra and get the simply superb Toyo Proxes T1-R. I think it's the best tyre for the F/TF.
