Well after the knob jockey who was meant to remove my coupe VVC engine fail to turn up TWICE 
, I am now going to break the engine as well...so, am I right in saying that the engine in the vvc coupe is the same as
200/25 GTI

I just need to know for advertising purposes.

All VVC engines are escentially the same but with slight differences to castings and bolt on items..
It is identical as per all 200 bubble and MGF(95-99) mems2J, you can mention it can be fitted into any mems3 fitment as per 25, MGF/TF and ZR and just swap over the top cam cover with coil packs, inlet manifold and oil and coolant temp sensors.
