After Andy asked where I got my camera mount and I told him I'd made it, I thought I'd be the gentleman and see if I could make another one for him as he's keen to do some filming on FRL night. But it got me thinking, as I'd made the original when working at an engineering company making antenae and 'acquired' the bits from there, how could I make another without access to these freebies and perhaps improve the design.

Well I did and here is the result. It doesn't look too different from the MkI model except you can't see any bolts where it mounts on the headrest and it's covered with black alcantara (well, material that looks like it...!) and not rubber. The ends look open in the pics but they are actually just shiny black.

And now TC and Ollie both have them fitted. If anyone else is interested, I can give instructions on what you need and where to get it from. Including the camera adaptor from Jessups (the most expensive part) it all comes to about £18.

Looks neat and simple. Would be useful on a trackday.
