As Rich kindly pointed out on Thursday, I don't think anyone has ever seen my car in one piece Laughing He did seem rather shocked when I said currently I do have more than just a driver's seat so I thought I'd best post some proof Wink

And one of the reasons for cracking on with the swap:

Emerald map switch, better than having it floating around behind the passenger side Laughing

Still plenty to do, the green bits have got to go to be replaced with gloss black (same as the gear ring) and then we'll see....

Of course, we only have your word for it that this really is your car Laughing

Hopefully you will drive to a meet some day - hope it is going to be ready for FRL!

Did you spray the gear surround ring yourself or buy a gloss black one? I am definitely thinking of changing mine to black but not sure whether to spray the existing one or look for one on ebay..

I did indeed spray it Smile I bought it off eBay along with the original MKII center consol and sprayed them both as mine is a MKI. It's now on about the third or fourth console due to various changes Laughing Best bet is to get another one, spray it and you can alway sell it on if you don't like it.

I'm hoping to have a few more bits done for FRL including having it mapped properly but we'll see Embarassed

I presume that the toggle switches in the ash tray are for the passenger ejector seat Wink

The trim of the centre console and door cards I'm guessing its Light Smokestone and not the light Tan, I do have a rear speaker assemble and speaker T-bar cover in the loft of the garage which is the Light Smokestone grey if your interested Wink

I really like the colour combo...the weirdest thing is seeing your car with carpet! Shocked

You'll be doing the engine rebuild next! Laughing
