Both electric windows don't work

Both electric windows don't work
I have put a multimeter across the fuses in the cable and there is no voltage, I checked the fuses under the bonnet, all OK, where else should I be looking.

Re: Both electric windows don't work
I think I found the answer there is also a relay that controls both, I will check it in the morning

This sending me mad
Checked to make sure power getting to relay. Yes
When pressing the left switch the relay seems to react, ie jumps from 0.3 to 0.6 volts across the switch part
Right switch does jack, check power is getting to switch, yes.
check motor with external battery worked, changed under bonnet fuse box.
Check continuity of relay seems be good.
Changed the Windows ECU
Check all (well the ones above the front wheels and in the engine bay) earth points, are there more
Checked all fuses. (Changed the relays from my F, which I know work)
What else is there to try???
Last resort is going to be a auto electrician, but has anybody else had this kind of issue.
Funny thing this is bothering me more than the overheating

What car is this? The TF?
If it's got a round remote fob; it's got a Pektron SCU which also controls the operation of the electric windows and is a known problem area...

Yes TF, but has square fob. I think you are referring to 2004 on.

Re: Both electric windows don't work
What a nightmare this turned out to be, I poked my multimeter in so many places, over the last week or so and then finally found the problem. It was the MFU, it was faulty, replaced it with the one from the F, and bloody well screamed with delight as the windows burst into life.
The only reason I knew there was even an MFU, was because whilst stripping the F found a red box behind the fuse box and googled it, and there it is someone else with the same problem.
After 2003, it switches to the notorious BCU, so at least I had ready made replacement.
Right just the cooling system to sort now.
