Rover 25 1.4i - SOLD
I have for sale a Rover 25 1.4i five-door in Tahiti Blue for sale.
It is the unrestricted 103ps model, so same engine spec as the MG ZR105. It has electric front windows, electric sunroof, power steering, CD player with steering wheel controls and all the other nice extras that Rovers have (chrome, wood, etc.). It also has some nice coronet alloys.
The car has just had a new head gasket fitted and the head skimmed for safe measure. It has also had a full service and now has 12 months' MoT. It has a genuine 70K on the clock and previous MoT certificates to back this up. It was a project and is now ready to move on.
I am looking for £800 ovno.
Please note that it is currently SORNed so would need to be taxed to drive it on the road. I am able to tax it for collection at the cost of the disc in addition to the agreed sale price.

Re: Rover 25 1.4i - SOLD
PRICE REDUCED!
The car is now available at £750 including 6 months' tax which I will put on at the time of sale.
If you know someone who may be interested, there may just be some commission available, depending on what the final sale price is of course!

I wouldn't know as I never go in the ZR section... It kicked off in the cars for sale section which is for all MGRs. But the last post made after I posted there that it was sold did make me smile!Nick wrote:I hadnt seen anything on .org abut it, but the ZR boys can be a little OTT, bless 'em

TBH the bloke knocking it seems to be the resident .org cock-he appears in most for sale threads making derisory offers or whinging about prices.

Thats good to hear Rich, now put that cash to the side as you know where it has to go
Haven't been on .org in ages mainly due to the fact you mentioned about people on there, to me it just seems full of people that think they know everything and have to have a go at almost everyone else which annoys me, atleast on here we can easily put each other in the right place and simple have a laugh about it

I had a look at some of his other threads , he's after a 25 for £150 as a project, he appears to be the 'end of a bell' : lol:Captain Slow wrote:TBH the bloke knocking it seems to be the resident .org cock-he appears in most for sale threads making derisory offers or whinging about prices.

By the way Rich-if you hear of a ZR in a similar situation give me a shout (obviously you'll have some comission out of it!). I've converted Emma so that she is actually jumping up and down wanting a ZR in the future.
It'll be nice if I can find a little project for small cost to turn into a good car for her-unfortunately a ZR160 is out of the question, purely because I'll be tempted to keep it for myself!

Basically, you're suggesting he's a bit of a...

The reference was to the helmet in general, not specifically a policeman's lid!
