My effing weekend

Well It's been a great mgf weekend, I had my mate Ben over with his VVC, and between him, me and ray we managed to angle grind / hacksaw, burn /stab the resonator box to death which allowed easy removal after only 2 hours effort , then we fitted his K&N enclosed induction kit (nice induction raw).
I managed to fit my front adjustable shock absorbers, before we went out and looked at / bought Rays trophy.
Then into Davfor a curry and back to mine where Ben managed to snag a milltek and sports cat on ebay for £160

This morning I fitted my rear shock absorbers and popped to halfords (me driving Bens F, him driving mine) got waves back from a MGBGT, and a blue F on the way back to mine I caught site of Carl (Bomber Harris) in his newly painted shiney red F which looks and sounds fantastic, he joined the convoy and we had an impromptu Daventry Fers meeting round mine.

Oh and the weathers been great to....happy MG'ing everyone

Went to Longbridge as you know.

Today we joined the MGOC Kilsby for a fifty mile run through some of the finest English countryside we have seen. The blossom on the trees along the way was simply stunning.
Narrow gated roads and country estates to drive through, wonderful.

We ended at 'Drive it Day' classic meet at Husband Bosworth, a glider base.

Great weekend especially as you say Nick, the weather.

Yes, I am tempted to go and park the car on Nick's drive one weekend - he would not be able to resist adding some goodies to it!

It was a great day yesterday and all the cars stayed put as I didn't do anything other than sort out tools and part of the garage so I could walk to the back of it lol, went for a walk around the lakes and just chilled out, a nice easy work free day for me for a change

As we have afew long weekends upon us I will then be doing work on the fleet, go the start welding the metro back to together and I may, may do something on Fizzbot
