Iain, use satnag... Details are in the top thread. It's near Sywell and is probably best approached from the A45 via Earls Barton for you I would think. Just be careful of the potholes on the lane up to it...

Spot on... although one or two sometimes turn up earlier if they wish to eat first. It's actually supposed to be an admin meeting half an hour before but that seldom happens!

You know, I think you're going to have to start a 'local' meeting nearer to you on a monthly basis. Marcus might be able to make that one to and you may be able to pull in some newbies! Let me know if you're interested...

I am know a few good pubs around my way that are easily accessable-would obviously like the regulars to come along too!

Having just slipped and slithered my way home around the edge of Sywell and Little Harrowden, (my route to Overstone) come sideways into my own village and with temperatures dropping and heavy snow falling I feel it would be foolhardy to attempt going out again tonight.

It's not worth denting an MG especially with the way they tend to be written off these days and as I'm seeing most of you ugly reprobates (ladies excepted) on Sunday (weather permitting), I won't be attending this evening.

The general idea is that the 'locals' go to the 'local' meetings, so hopefully you could pull in some new Bedfordshire members. That's why we were surprised when you turned up that time to our Northants 'local' meeting. If we have too many meetings in a month, the enthusiasm will drop and more will be missed. We have the regular 'regional' meetings for us all to get together and no doubt we would pop over occasionally to your 'local' meet in the summer months, but best to concentrate on developing the 'Beds Arm' of the club... and you'll have the club's full backing, as long as you don't want do$h!

We can chat about it on Sunday if you like...

Conditions getting worse and I've had several texts to say it's worse in other areas so we'll give this one a miss. Hopefully, things will be better for the weekend and we could always have one next week instead if enough people are up for it...

Well had a fun trip to Eastbourne and back today in a company audi A3 poverty spec pool car...what a nasty piece of poo that was, hard plastic steering wheel, rubbish seats and a nasty centre console that bangs your knee. Still it got me there and back, the snow literaly started as i crossed the Northants border and has really settled over here, my trip up the hill to work looks a little 'interesting' for tomorrow.
